Senior, Music Education (student teaching)
Julia Bovee is an undergraduate at Grand Valley State University graduating in Spring 2017 with a Bachelor of Music Education degree. She currently plays with “The Bassment Boys” tuba quartet and has played in Grand Valley’s Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Tuba and Euphonium Ensemble, Select Women’s Choir, several athletic pep bands, and the Laker Marching Band. She has played trombone in the Grand Valley Jazz Band and Muskegon’s Shoreline Symphony and has performed in all of Grand Valley’s Octubafest programs. Julia enjoys rock-climbing, zip-lining and word-rhyming in all her spare time(ing).
